The Poblenou neighbourhood is located just few metres away from the sea front, near the Olympic Port. It has easy acces to the city center by metro or bus (just 5 stops to the Gothic Quarter). Even the
neighbourhood forms part of the large city, no one wants to lose the village spirit alive that makes Poblenou unique. It is one of the most authentic and prettiest areas in Barcelona.
With the transformation originated by the Olimpyc Games in 1992, the area and the coastline were enterily rehabilitated. Nowadays, it has became into a very attractive neighbourhood with its mediterranean style of life. You can feel it just strolling down the Rambla del Poblenou, the pedestrian tree lined boulevard wich is the neighbourhood's main street, where you can enjoy having a drink in one of the open air terraces or cafes.In addition and specially in summer, the "chiringuitos" (beach bars on the sand) are the best chilled out places with music and a fun-loving atmosphere. Between the sea front and the Rambla del Poblenou there is an spacious park with a fitness circuit, for those who enjoy jogging walking.
Barcelona has its own history and culture, but the best way to feel its rhythm is strolling throug its many streets. In fact, the streets are the best places to discover the spirit of what real life is like in our city. Just keep your eyes open and allow yourself to be surprised!

It is located just beside Rambla de Poblenou, just 300 metres away from the beach promenade. The house was built in 1930 and has been enterily renoved triying to preserve all its own character. The guest house has just 8 cozy rooms, each one with its own bathroom. The rooms are cozy, fresh and bright. All of them are equipped with television, air conditioning and heating. For those travelling with their laptops we provide WI-FI area, but if you just want to check your e-mail, we have a PC with internet ADSL conection... everything with no extra charge.
In summertime we do reccomend to enjoy your breakfast on our pretty terrace...brilliant!

The apartments

For those who prefer to stay in an apartment, we can bring you different solutions in this area. In fact, the apartments do not belong to the hostal and each one has its own style, but we have selected the ones that at least are equipped with kitchen, fridge, TV, and Air Conditioning, as well as bed linen and fresh towels.
Just let us know your needs and the length of your stay, and we shall find out which one suits you better.
The minimum stay is 4 nights, but you can also rent them for weeks or longer(in this case, there is a price reduction)

HOW TO BOOK:
You just have to call or e-mail asking for availability (arrival and departure date) and your preferences (guest house or apartments) We shall give you inmediatly confirmation if you call us asking for the Hostal-Guest House, or we shall confirm during the day in case you ask for an apartment.
In order to hold the bookings, we shall require your credit card details. We can also accept a pre-payment (20-50% of the stay) via bank wire. Well... You choose the most convenient.
Finally, we shall e-mail you back with the confirmation of your booking.
Check-In & Check-Out:
Check-in time will be from 02:00 pm to 08:00 pm, but we can be flexible if circumstancies allow us to do it. It will be very convenient that you let us know your arrival time (aprox). It's very helpful for our internal organization.
Check-out will be until 11:00 h. In case you would be interested to leave the room/apartment later, we shall try our best to make it possible (with no extra charge).
Please, remember that if you can tell us with a little bit of anticipation your arrival time, your colaboration will be very appreciated and we shall be able to give you the best service as well. Thanks a lot!
PAYMENT:
- At the hostal you can pay in cash or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Maestro).
- Concerning the apartments, normally you will pay in advance for 1 or 2 nights, so the remaining balance should be done upon arrival, only in cash. The keys will only be given upon receipt of the balance.
DEPOSIT (for apartments):
The owners can require a deposit according to the rental situation. This deposit would respond of any damages (if they occur) during the stay or extra cleaning charges if the apartment should need it. On returning the keys at the end of the stay and after checking that you have left the apartment clean and tidy, the deposit will be full returned.
CANCELLATIONS:
If for any reason you have to cancell your booking at the Hostal-Guest House, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellation fee will be one night charge if you cancel within 1 week prior to arrival date, and full payment for no show-up.
Concerning the apartments, each owner has its own cancellation policy, but anyway, you would be informed in advance about the conditions.
